Hilo Studio is a graphic art and design studio. A practice built on the meeting of hand-made and digital image-making.

Working across illustration, typography and motion, the studio develops bold, graphic work shaped through drawing, material process and digital tools. Projects span both commissioned and self-initiated work, with an emphasis on expression, experimentation and strong visual form.


Rooted in a balance of analogue and digital techniques, each project begins with making. Physical marks, textures and imperfections are carried through into final outputs, whether static or moving image.

The studio collaborates with brands, agencies and individuals across art, culture and commercial contexts, creating work that is direct, distinctive and built to last.

Alongside client work, the studio runs its own clothing line as an extension of its visual practice.
